Program Description
Bond University’s Bachelor of Global Studies (Sustainability) is founded on the growing relevance of sustainability to business, government and community, integrating economic, social and environmental perspectives. It takes a multidisciplinary approach to addressing the complex challenges of global sustainability, and provides students with an understanding of the concepts as well as the tools used across planning, problem solving, diplomacy and decision making relevant to professional practice. The program challenges students to critically review local sustainability issues in a global context. Topics covered include global issues of human development, such as social injustice, environmental degradation, conflict and resource scarcity, as well as local issues including environmental planning and impact assessment.
